I think that my research skills improved compared to AS level. Music is a big part of my life which wasn't completely true for thriller movies, the research is more enjoyable and terefore more efficient. Before I used to research only thinks closely connected to what I'm looking for. So I researched movies from the same genre and often from the same country (USA).
Now I'm looking at videos and effects from a range of different genres. I compare the similarities and differences as well as things that make them unique to that genre and recognisable.
Also the difference between last year and this year is the fact that I know how to start and where to look, which decreases my research time.
