In our group we had an idea to show the lyrics of the song as the artist sings them. We thought of either using words written on cardboard or made digitally. I decided to try it out to see if I'm able to do that using Adobe After Effects. I added lyrics from the chorus to a clip of the official music video for our song. This is the effect:
I used simple Helvetica white font that appears as the words are heard and disappear in the same time but start fading away depending when they were said. They also follow the singer as she runs/moves. If we decide to use this effect we will stylize the font and animation to work with the genre.
