Firstly, the narrative of this video is that the main singer finding out that her boyfriend is being unfaithful and she stalks him to to capture the proof on camera. The video is mainly set in the canal with several scenes in a café. The video uses disjuncture as the lyrics and visuals have no relation. The only concept we will use from the video is the costume; our costume will not be exactly the same but similar as it suits the genre.
However, our video will differ in many ways:
- No band included
- No clear narrative
- No props
- We will use elements of illustration, amplification and disjuncture
- More editing to suit the upbeat mood
- Entire video set in Brighton
- Uses more variety of editing (jump cuts, slow motion etc.)
