Introduction to Digipaks... The "Do's"

 

In class, we've had an introduction to Digipaks and more importantly, how to correctly make one. Following the conventions of these products and adhere to them is really important.

Important points to keep in mind:

• Use a clear font (As seen in the digipak above, you need to be able to read it clearly from far away!)
• Make sure to use the appropriate size for the images, and the text, you're using.
• Make sure the images you're using are of an appropriate shape.
• Follow the rule of thirds for composition.
• Follow the 3 colour rule.
• Use appropriate industry logos and conventions, properly positioned (Barcode, copyright, date, etc.)
